Per Diem, Registered Nurse, RN, PCU
About The Position
This position is for an experienced Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse within FirstChoice, Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution. FirstChoice RNs fill short and long-term assignments across the health system, offering premium compensation and maximum flexibility with nationwide and regional travel opportunities. The role involves working as a travel Health Care Professional to fill critical positions due to unforeseen circumstances or extended leaves-of-absence, allowing for experience in a variety of practice settings locally or nationally. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment
- Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU
- American Heart Association BLS
- American Heart Association ACLS
Responsibilities
- Work a minimum of 36 hours in 6 weeks
- Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations (Trinity Health Muskegon) and/or regions
- Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Outcomes Identification / Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate
- Acts independently & appropriately within license, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area
- Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes
- Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes
- Exhibits agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities
