About The Position

Join our nursing Night Crew at Saint Luke's South, Overland Park, KS We are hiring for the Progressive Care Unit. Experienced RNs and New Graduates with ADN, Diploma, and BSN qualifications are welcome to apply. Open RN positions offer: ï¸ Part-time 12-hour night shift ï¸ Benefits available starting the first month after your start date Due to the recent growth at this location we have recently expanded our PCU services to meet the demands of our patients and community. We are looking for positive nurses who enjoy working with a team, passionate about helping others expand their skill sets, patient centered and needs variety in their day to be satisfied in their work. This team builds on each other's strengths and works together to help each grow their nursing skills; while keeping the patient first and providing exceptional care. These units will see a variety of patient conditions and treatments with an average stay of 3 to 4 days. These Progressive Care Units are cardiac focused, but not specialized. Requirements

Less than 1 year
Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
Registered Nurse - Various
Associate Degree

Responsibilities

Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
Performing patient care.
Delegating patient care tasks and supervision of other patient care staff.
Coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.
