About The Position
Join a Magnet-designated, major teaching hospital in charming Columbia, South Carolina. Enjoy free on-site parking and a collaborative work environment. A 41-bed progressive care trauma, Telemetry unit primarily geared towards adult patients requiring care after experiencing traumatic injury typically requiring surgical intervention. The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4, flexing up to 1:5 as needed. The unit is equipped with telemetry monitoring for up to 14 patients. Examples of these patients include those with injuries related to gunshot wounds or other penetrating injuries assaults, motor vehicle crashes, and falls.
Requirements
- Active RN License
- AHA ACLS / BCLS / NIH / TELE required.
- Minimum 1-year PCU experience
- EPIC proficiency required
- Medication test required.
- Note: 2+ years of experience within specialty required for 1st time travelers
Nice To Haves
- Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
