About The Position

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).
• BCLS Certification is required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
• Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
• Communicate changes in patients' clinical conditions with Physicians, Nursing Supervisors/Managers, and co-workers as appropriate.
• Participate in the discharge planning process.
