About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Registered Nurse (RN) to join our GI ambulatory surgery center. This role includes responsibilities in pre-operative care, Intra-procedural circulating, and post-anesthesia recovery (PACU). The ideal candidate is team and detail oriented, adaptable, and committed to delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of and accredited school of nursing
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care or relevant nursing experience
- Strong clinical judgement and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Provide post-anesthesia and recovery care
- Monitor patient status and respond to clinical needs
- Document care accurately in EMR
- Support patient flow and assist in other perioperative areas as needed
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives
