About The Position
Baptist Health is looking for a Registered Nurse for our Recovery Services Unit (PACE, Pre-OP, PACU, and Discharge) at Baptist Beaches. This is a PRN position. Requirements
- Experience in PACU or critical care strongly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible PRN shifts and participate in call coverage.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- On-call requirement and will require a 40-minute call response time
- Associate's Degree - Nursing
- 2 years Post Anesthesia Critical Unit Experience
- Telemetry Experience
- Critical Care Experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required

- Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
Responsibilities
- Provide post-operative care for patients recovering from anesthesia.
- Monitor vital signs, manage pain control, and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe recovery.
- Educate patients and families on post-op care and discharge instructions.
