About The Position

Directly responsible for postoperative care of the patient. The PACU nurse utilizes the nursing process to identify patient needs for continuous assessment post-surgery. The nurse is responsible for evaluating and documenting the effectiveness of nursing actions and ensuring a safe environment and continuity of care. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Must possess a current California RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire or status change.
• PALS within 90 days of hire or status change.
