At FBH we have a variety of client services, including outpatient, inpatient, community outreach, crisis services, partnerships with schools, law enforcement and more. Our evidence-based, culturally appropriate, trauma informed behavioral health services address the diverse needs of those we serve. The RN is an active member of the Trueblood team providing services to adults who are experiencing serious and/or chronic mental health disorders. Clinical oversight will be provided by the Trueblood ARNP and the outpatient nurse manager. Services are primarily provided in the community where the Trueblood class member is located, accompanied by Trueblood staff as requested. In collaboration with a psychiatric care provider, the RN assists with medication management and administration, through documentation as well as monitoring clients for medical problems or side effects. The RN will communicate and coordinate services with other medical providers, engage in health promotion, prevention, and educational activities. The nurse will educate other team members to help them monitor psychiatric symptoms and medication side effects and work with clients to develop strategies to maximize the taking of medications as prescribed.
