About The Position

As a Registered Nurse Ambulatory in our Foundation Nursing Float Pool , you’ll deliver professional nursing care in an outpatient setting. You will work collaboratively with providers and other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and evaluate care for patients across a variety of ambulatory specialties.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Active RN license in NH or applicable compact state
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• 1+ year of professional nursing experience preferred; ambulatory care experience a plus
• Knowledge of EMR systems and nursing protocols; EPIC experience preferred
• Compassionate, adaptable, detail-oriented, and a team player with strong communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage competing priorities

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, triage (in-person, phone, telehealth), care planning, interventions, and evaluations
• Administer medications, vaccinations, treatments, and point-of-care testing
• Educate patients on self-care, chronic disease management, and wellness
• Support providers during exams and procedures
• Lead and mentor clinical staff and ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
• Document accurately within the EMR (EPIC) and assist with pre-visit planning
• Participate in continuous education, including telephone triage and clinical competencies
