About The Position

Community Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, invites you to explore the position of Registered Nurse (RN) in the Outpatient Extended Stay unit. This role is essential in providing expert care and education to patients, acting as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN will utilize the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care from admission through discharge or transfer. The position requires a commitment to making communities healthier and providing exceptional care to patients.

Requirements

• Current state RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire.
• ACLS within six (6) months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• BSN.
• One (1) year of nursing experience.
• Acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care of patients.
• Provide expert care and education to patients in a clinical setting.
• Act as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel.
• Manage patient loads within assigned timelines.
