About The Position

Sentara RMH Medical Center is now hiring a Registered Nurse for the 4 West Medical Surgical unit. This position is ideal for candidates who have experience or interest in caring for total joint, spine, medical/surgical patients as well as observation patients. Sign on bonus up to $20,000 offered plus relocation assistance if specified criteria is met.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse certification/licensure.
• Previous acute care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the nursing process.
• Conduct assessments, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation.
• Meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.
• Participate in the Transition to Practice/Nurse Residency Program.
