Join our large, dynamic Orthopedic Clinic, supporting a high‑volume practice comprised of 9 orthopedic surgeons, 7 sports medicine physicians, and 15 advanced practice providers (NPs and PAs). RNs play a key role in delivering coordinated, patient‑focused care in a fast‑paced environment, managing high call volumes while collaborating with a highly specialized, team‑oriented staff. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who thrive on variety, teamwork, and expanding their orthopedic expertise in a well‑established practice. Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm This is a PRN position. No Weekends! No Holidays! No call!
Requirements
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
- Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
- Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.
- Requires ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner.
- Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
- Requires ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
Nice To Haves
