About The Position

At South Shore Health, our community-based health system offers OR RNs the opportunity to work across a wide range of surgical specialties, caring for both adult and pediatric patients. Our nurses support both scheduled procedures and emergent cases through our Level II Trauma Center. Our collaborative perioperative team—including skilled surgical technologists and perioperative assistants—partners closely with nursing to deliver the highest level of patient care. Requirements

• Prior operating room (OR) / surgical nursing experience required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Previous Acute Care RN experience preferred
• RN - Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• Emergency Response Training Certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
• Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification may be required

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration
