About The Position

Texas Health Stephenville seeks to hire a Registered Nurse OR Service Line Specialist Surgery Department Location: 411 Belknap Stephenville, TX 76401 Work Schedule: Part Time, Days (24 hours); 7AM-3PM (3 days per week) Job Description OR Circulating - Collaborates with other team members (including anesthesiologist, surgeon, surgical technologist, etc) to ensure the safety of patients during the operation. Serves as clinical liaison to staff, surgeons and vendors. Promotes engagement through open lines of communication. Organizes face-to-face meetings as needed. Communicates products and services. Completes special projects and events as needed. Actively participates in training, orientation and mentoring of staff members while facilitating education on service line clinical, administrative, legal and financial requirements. Maintains par levels of special equipment and supply orders items specific to service line. Ensures that accurate and timely charges incorporated into service line surgeon preference cards. Works with clinical manager to coordinate capital and non-capital budget needs for service line. Attends and participates in clinical facilitator meetings.

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma Nursing
  • Associate's Degree Nursing
  • 1 Year perioperative services and circulating and/or scrubbing experience
  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing
  • 1 Year OR specialty experience based on specific service line needs
