About The Position

Registered Nurse or LPN| Nights | Skilled Nursing Facility at Hillsdale Hospital

Work Schedule and Shift Premiums 6:45pm - 7:15am three 12-hour shifts per week including every other weekend 2nd shift premium is $2.00/hour, 3rd shift premium is $3.05/hour, and weekend premium is $2.00/hour S.B. 690 skilled nursing premium is an additional $3.40/hour

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Valid Michigan LPN or RN license or able to get a Michigan endorsement
• BLS certification (available through Hillsdale Hospital), ACLS, and TEAM required within one year (also available through Hillsdale Hospital)

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients' and residents' health and implements plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and members of the care team
• Administers treatment, medications and IV solutions according to physician’s orders
• Observes and evaluates symptoms and reactions to treatment; initiates corrective action if needed
• Documents and maintains records and reports regarding nursing care provided
