About The Position
ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA), one of the nation’s largest ENT, Allergy, and Audiology medical practices, is seeking a Allergy Nurse for our Port Jefferson office. The Allergy Nurse role offers an opportunity to work with patients of all ages, encompassing a wide spectrum of care within our vibrant patient community. We offer a supportive work environment aimed at promoting professional growth and teamwork amongst health care providers. Hourly: LPN – $33.09/hr RN – $40/hr BSN – $42.68/hr
Requirements
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to work well in a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Competent working with computers
- Active RN or LPN License (New grads welcome to apply)
- BLS/CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Administer allergy injections and monitor patients
- Perform allergy testing (food, environmental, venom, drug and chemical testing)
- Conduct pulmonary function testing
- Assist physician with patient care
- Complete administrative responsibilities including insurance approvals, data entry, restocking clinical supplies
- Respond to patient calls and messages
