Registered Nurse or LPN - Post Acute
About The Position
Performs services requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgment and skill for carrying out the nursing regimen in support of medical care, based upon the principles of the biological, physiological, behavioral, and social sciences. The University of Vermont Health Network/Porter Medical Center is located in the heart of beautiful Middlebury, Vermont. We are comprised of a 25-bed acute care facility, a 98-bed skilled nursing facility which includes a memory care unit, short-term rehabilitation unit and a long-term care unit, and a network of primary care and specialty medical practices throughout Addison county and the town of Brandon.
Requirements
- Experience Gerontological nursing and knowledge of supervision techniques preferred.
- Able to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Demonstrate competence as a nursing practitioner.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
- This is a bargaining union position.
