Registered Nurse or LPN - Long Term Care - Full Time Days
About The Position
Performs services requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgment and skill for carrying out selected aspects of the designated nursing regiment under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse. The University of Vermont Health Network/Porter Medical Center is located in the heart of beautiful Middlebury, Vermont. We are comprised of a 25-bed acute care facility, a 98-bed skilled nursing facility which includes a memory care unit, short-term rehabilitation unit and a long-term care unit, and a network of primary care and specialty medical practices throughout Addison county and the town of Brandon.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current LPN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
- Able to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Demonstrate competence as a nursing practitioner.
Nice To Haves
- Gerontological nursing and knowledge of supervision techniques preferred.
