About The Position

What Registered Nurse contributes to Cardinal Health Nursing is responsible for the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care. Examines patients and administers prescribed medications to facilitate healing and increase comfort. Nursing requires training and or licensed to care for patients. Registered Nurses (RN) deliver direct patient care, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to care for patients, including those diagnosed with cancer. The OR Circulator RN will be present during surgery at Pearl Road Ambulatory Surgery Center in Middleburg Heights, OH. Schedule is Monday-Friday with no weekends, holidays, or call required. Responsibilities Transport patients from pre-op area to the operating room for scheduled outpatient procedures Observe during surgeries, updating the patient chart with appropriate procedure and supply information used during surgery Once surgery is completed, transport patients to post-op area and assist with observing patients are safely recovering Communicate effectively and clearly with other staff regarding patient requirements and requests Clean and sanitize surgical rooms Help answer phone calls Assist with other RN duties as needed Qualifications Associate's degree in Nursing At least 1 year of experience, preferred Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred Active OH RN license in good standing BLS certification Prior OR circulating experience, preferred Location and Hours Pearl Road Surgery Center 6900 Pearl Road Suite 101 Middleburg Heights, OH 44130 What is expected of you and others at this level Applies basic concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform routine tasks Works on projects of limited scope and complexity Follows established procedures to resolve readily identifiable technical problems Works under direct supervision and receives detailed instructions Develops competence by performing structured work assignments Anticipated hourly range: $26.90 per hour - $42.13 per hour Bonus eligible: No Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being. Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Nursing
  • At least 1 year of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Active OH RN license in good standing
  • BLS certification

Nice To Haves

  • Prior OR circulating experience, preferred
