About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Per Diem Registered Nurse – OR Circulator to join our Surgical Services Department at Boulder City Hospital. This role is responsible for providing high-quality, individualized care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, and ensuring all aspects of the operating room function efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nevada.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent OR Circulator experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be current).
• Strong organizational, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexible schedule availability is a must, including the ability to work on-call, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, individualized patient care in accordance with Boulder City Hospital policies, nursing standards, and regulatory guidelines within the surgical setting.
• Serve as a circulating nurse during surgical procedures, supporting the surgical team and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Promote the restoration of health and achievement of patient health goals through comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation of care related to surgical services.
• Coordinate communication among the surgical team, patients, and their families as appropriate.
• Demonstrate efficiency in the delivery of services that exceed patient expectations while supporting improved clinical and financial outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient’s medical record.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures in all areas of the operating room.
