About The Position

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) at Carroll Hospital is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients. This role involves managing intraoperative care, collaborating with surgical teams, and ensuring patient safety and adherence to established standards. The OR RN develops individualized care plans, monitors patient responses, and addresses any complications that arise during surgery, all while upholding the hospital's mission and values.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Completion of coursework from an accredited nursing school (2-4 years).
• CPR certification from AHA Healthcare Provider required.
• Current RN - Registered Nurse license required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Previous operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage intraoperative care for surgical patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient and surgeon needs.
• Monitor and assess patients continuously during surgery according to AORN standards.
• Evaluate patient responses to surgical interventions and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and support services to ensure effective patient care.
• Recognize and respond to complications or emergencies during surgery.

Benefits

• Sign-on bonus potential up to $20,000.00
• Competitive salary ranging from $35.00 to $54.82 per hour.
