Position Summary Under the supervision of the Department Director and/or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) delivers safe, effective, and patient-centered care to a diverse population ranging from infant to geriatric. This role is ideal for a motivated nurse who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is committed to providing quality care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
- If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.
- In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
Nice To Haves
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
- One year relevant experience, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of assigned patients
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to meet unit and hospital goals
- Providing care in alignment with clinical standards and departmental guidelines
- Willingness to float to other comparable nursing units, as needed
