About The Position

The BILH Care Center of Danvers is an outpatient surgery center in Danvers, MA, featuring 4 operating rooms. It specializes in a wide range of procedures including orthopedics, GYN, general surgery, pediatrics, Urology, ENT, oculoplastic, plastic surgery, podiatry, pain, and cataracts. The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe patient care for patients undergoing operative and other invasive procedures. This role offers the potential to float to Beverly Hospital Operating Room. Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• At least 1-2 years of work experience in an operating room environment required, or graduated from a Periop101 educational program

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• CNOR preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care for patients undergoing operative and other invasive procedures.
• Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observe patients' progress, and evaluate therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient.
• Support and educate patients and their loved ones to achieve maximum outcomes.
