Position Details:  Location: Winter Haven Hospital Status: Fulltime Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM On Call: Yes Always in person  Summary: The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:  RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards  RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team  RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization  RN is also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned  This position requires a minimum of two years of experience as an RN. For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year RN experience in the Operating Room for consideration.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience as an RN
  • Specific Skills: Clinical skills appropriate to position
  • Specific Skills: Interpersonal skills
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • RN (Registered Nurse)
  • ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
  • Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year RN experience in the Operating Room for consideration
  • Preferred Nurse Specialty (CNOR)
  • Preferred Bachelor's Nursing
