About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. The OR RN plays a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient surgical procedures by providing perioperative care, maintaining sterile environments, and supporting surgeons and anesthesiologists throughout operations.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
Current RN license in [State].
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room or perioperative nursing experience preferred.
Knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and OR equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to anticipate surgical team needs and respond quickly.
Compassionate and patient-focused approach.

Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) (preferred)

Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are sterilized and ready.
Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Assist surgeons during operations by anticipating needs and providing instruments and supplies.
Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and infection control protocols.
Document patient care accurately and update surgical records.
Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established protocols.
