About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Operating Room (OR) to provide high-quality perioperative care. The RN will work closely with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered surgical outcomes.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 5+ years of Operating Room / surgical nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
- Assist physicians during surgical procedures across multiple specialties
- Perform pre-operative patient preparation and education
- Monitor patient condition during surgical procedures to ensure safety and stability
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support setup and handling of surgical and robotic equipment (including Mako Robotics)
- Provide post-operative care and patient education for recovery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams
- Follow all hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
