About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift assignment in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong scrub and circulating experience, including CVOR exposure , and be comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience (Scrub & Circulating)
• CVOR experience is required
• Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
• Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program
• Active New York State RN License
• Primary Source Verification of RN license via NYSED
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and circulating duties for a variety of surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms, ensuring proper equipment, instrumentation, and sterile technique
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during operative procedures
• Administer medications, including conscious sedation , per protocol
• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy as required
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
