Registered Nurse Operating Room at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Garland: The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. At USPI, we create relationships that create better care. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current Texas License as a Registered Nurse.
- Current in BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
- A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
- Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
- Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
