About The Position

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room at Skokie Hospital. This position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week with rotating day shifts and on-call obligations. Occasional travel to other Endeavor Health sites may be required. The RN will provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patients and their families, utilizing the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The role also involves maintaining regulatory compliance and guiding unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.

Requirements

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required.
• Operating Room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patient populations and families.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
• Assume responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
