Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• At least six months nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• One year of perioperative experience preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the operating room and recovery room.
• Demonstrate knowledge of current trends and techniques in perioperative nursing.
• Work effectively with physicians, patients, and peers.
• Exhibit tact, discretion, and diplomacy.
• Demonstrate leadership and ability to work under pressure.
