Registered Nurse (Operating Room/Endoscopy)
About The Position
Responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process in a collaborative manner to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with his/her scope of practice. The RN supports the goals and philosophy of the Department of Nursing within the St. Joseph's Healthcare System and on his/her assigned unit St. Joseph’s Health is recognized for the expertise and compassion of its highly skilled and responsive staff. St. Joseph’s Health officially opened the Totowa Health Campus during a special ceremony that included a ribbon cutting and a blessing by the Most Reverend Kevin Sweeney, Bishop of the Diocese of Paterson. More than 100 people attended the event, including Congressman Bill Pascrell, 9th District of New Jersey; John Coiro, Mayor of Totowa; and Senator Kristen Corrado, of New Jersey’s 40th Legislative District. The new campus, located at 225 Minnisink Road in Totowa, is a 140,000-square-foot facility that integrates a comprehensive listing of outpatient services, including primary and urgent care, diagnostic imaging including MRI and CT, Radiology, Lab Services and Pharmacy all under one roof. A host of medical and surgical physician offices are located on the campus, including cardiology, urology and gynecology, along with specialty Centers including Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy. This fall, the health campus will also be the new home of a Comprehensive Cancer Center opening in October.
