About The Position
The Opioid Treatment Program at Crouse Hospital is an outpatient service dedicated to assisting clients who are dependent on opiates. This program provides a comprehensive approach to treatment, which includes medication therapy, medical and bio-psychological assessments, treatment planning, and both individual and group therapy sessions. Additionally, the program offers education on chemical dependency and related topics, as well as activities of daily living therapy, medical follow-up, and continued care planning. As a Registered Professional Nurse within this program, you will play a crucial role in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients. This responsibility is carried out in accordance with the established standards and practices of Crouse Hospital. Your work will involve direct clinical practice, management of patient care, and fulfilling general professional duties. You will be expected to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that each patient receives the highest quality of care tailored to their individual needs.
