About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Obstetrics/Med Surg for a 13-week travel assignment in Atlantic, IA. Contract Details Night - every third weekend Start Date: 5/25/2026 Contract: 13 weeks Location: Atlantic, IA Hourly Pay: $ 42.00 Non-taxed Stipend: $1,246.00 Weekly Total Pay: $2380.00 EMR Used: EPIC OB includes labor & delivery, postpartum, and recovery. These nurses are expected to float to the med-surg floor when there are no obstetric patients. Key Responsibilities: Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals. Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients. Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications. Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs. Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements. Monitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner. Collaborating on discharge planning with the healthcare team. Answering questions and educating patients and their families on surgical procedures and post-surgery care. Maintaining and updating patient files, medical charts, and health records. Adhering to best nursing practices, standards, and protocols. Compensation: Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible) Pay package details provided upon offer

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of Obstetrics/Med Surg RN experience desired
  • Must have BLS/BCLS certification
  • Must have ACLS certification
  • Must have PALS certification
  • Must have NRP certification
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
