About The Position

Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, is looking for an inpatient Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Observation Unit at Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence. The Outpatient Observation Unit cares for a variety of diagnoses including chest pain, asthma, syncope, anemia, back pain, DVT, heart failure, and many others. Our patient population consists of outpatient/observation patients admitted from the Emergency Department for a short stay of 24 hours or less.

Requirements

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required
• ADN required; BSN preferred
