About The Position
The RN in this position provides safe, evidence-based, and culturally competent care in a very diverse community to the birthing patient and family unit. Responsibilities include: Accurate interpretation of Electronic Fetal Monitoring Timely and appropriate labor and delivery interventions Skilled postpartum and newborn care Effective patient and family education , including discharge planning Clear, timely documentation in the electronic health record Adapt to rapidly changing patient and team needs Professional collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Strong clinical judgement and the ability to work well within a team
- This position requires reliability, accountability, and the ability to function confidently in a dynamic environment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior nursing experience preferred
