About The Position
The RN in this position provides safe, evidence-based, and culturally competent care in a very diverse community to the birthing patient and family unit. Responsibilities include: Accurate interpretation of Electronic Fetal Monitoring Timely and appropriate labor and delivery interventions Skilled postpartum and newborn care Effective patient and family education, including discharge planning Clear, timely documentation in the electronic health record Adapt to rapidly changing patient and team needs Professional collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Strong clinical judgement and the ability to work well within a team
- Prior nursing experience preferred
