About The Position

The Staff RN is responsible for the provision and supervision of nursing care to cardiopulmonary rehabilitation patients in accordance with department policies and procedures. The Staff RN will be responsible for performing a variety of duties within the Cardiac Rehab and Testing Departments.

Requirements

• High School Graduate (or equivalent).
• Graduate of a state accredited school of nursing.
• RN Nursing License in Virginia required.
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved required.
• ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required.
• Strong assessment skills and ability to make independent decisions based upon nursing assessment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
