About The Position

Requirements

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• AHA BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
• BSN in progress and/or willingness to acquire within three years of hire.
• Six months or more of relevant nursing experience or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Function as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes.
• Provide effective direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team to a variety of complex patients.
• Direct and oversee the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.
• Effectively coordinate patient care and unit activities among nursing peers, physicians, and support services.
