About The Position
The Registered Nurse position at Parkview Noble Hospital is a vital role within the Medical/Surgical and Critical Care Unit (CCU), located on the second floor of the facility. This unit is designed to provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, ranging from infants to the elderly. The Medical/Surgical unit consists of 26 beds, with 22 dedicated to medical/surgical patients and 4 to critical care patients. The nursing staff operates with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 4-5:1 in the Med/Surg area and 1:2 in the CCU, ensuring that each patient receives the attention and care they need. The team-oriented environment emphasizes the importance of individual team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and support. Nurses in this role will engage in a variety of clinical skills, including vital sign monitoring, patient assessment, medication administration, catheter management, peripheral IV insertion and maintenance, wound care, and laboratory specimen collection. The position allows nurses to develop both technical and interpersonal skills, making a significant impact on the health and well-being of patients in the community.
