About The Position

Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is a freestanding, 122 bed facility specializing in general adult psych, adolescents, geriatric, and women's services. We are conveniently located in Southwest Houston, between the Galleria and Meyerland shopping districts, only minutes away from the Houston Medical Center, Downtown, and Midtown. Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking dedicated and caring Registered Nurses (RNs) with experience or interest in behavioral health. Registered Nurses (RNs) at Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire deliver quality nursing care and play a pivotal role in the treatment planning process. Requirements

• Graduate from a professional nursing program; BSN preferred
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
• Successful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification; certifications may be obtained during orientation

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients
• Participate in the treatment planning process
• Provide support and care to patients in a behavioral health setting
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team
