About The Position

This is a great opportunity for an individual who has been considering working as a specialty psych nurse with an amazing group of mental health professionals, clinicians, psychiatrists & youth counselors who are invested in improving the lives of our residents. Requirements

• Valid Utah RN or Multi-State Compact authority to practice.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and plan of care on assigned patients and provides individualized nursing care.
• Administers medications as assigned, serves as a resource for knowledge of medication uses, educates residents about their medications, checks for proper medication orders, dosage, side effects and documents medications according to policy.
• Promotes and provides health care teaching to residents.
