About The Position
Levi Hospital, a facility dedicated to healing both mind and body since 1914, is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient psychiatric unit. This position is PRN (as needed) and primarily involves working the night shift. The ideal candidate will be a quick thinker, capable of developing effective treatment pathways while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team. The RN will be responsible for assessing and managing emergencies, demonstrating strong crisis management skills. Flexibility in scheduling is essential to meet the dynamic needs of our patients, ensuring that care is responsive and timely. In this role, the RN will monitor, record, and update patient vitals, noting any significant health changes. Attention to detail is crucial, particularly when documenting patient information and delivering health assessments to other team members. The RN will also need to possess high emotional intelligence, which is vital for creating a positive patient care experience. This includes the ability to simplify medical terminology and concepts for patients, ensuring they understand their health status and treatment plans. The position requires a valid RN license and CPR certification, along with a commitment to providing compassionate and competent care in a hospital inpatient setting.
