About The Position

The Registered Nurse NICU position at Rose Medical Center involves providing specialized care to patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification through the AHA or ARC.
• Current NRP certification through AAP.
• Registered Nurse with current licensure in the State of Colorado or active multistate Registered Nurse license.
• Associate Degree from an accredited school of Nursing; BSN is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in the care of patients in the NICU.
• Perform delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice.
• Float to the Well Baby Nursery or Pediatrics as needed.
• Perform lab testing as assigned and document results.
• Communicate critical lab results as defined.
• Follow lab testing safety guidelines and maintain quality control.
• Take call and meet call shift requirements established by the department.
