Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • Current Nevada nursing license.
  • Current BLS certificate. NRP within 6 mo. of hire. STABLE within 6 mo of hire
  • Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Nice To Haves

  • Neonatal nursing experience preferred.
  • Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Educate and assist new mothers with physical and emotional needs durng the post partum period, while in the hospital setting
  • Caring for the infants and educating mothers about care.
  • Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowlede and skill.
  • Develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.
