Our Level III NICU functions within the Perinatal & Pediatric Services Center in Bloomington Hospital. This unit has 21 beds and provides care to babies 26 weeks gestation and above. Our focus is on premature babies & newborns. With this facility being created December 2021 we use state of the art technology to provide the best patient care possible. Shift: All shifts will be required to pick up 1-on call shift every 6-weeks.   • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
