  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in the care of patients.
  • Deliver care based on age-appropriate criteria and individual patient needs.
  • Rotate to other service areas as required and perform duties within competency.
  • Perform delegated duties consistent with scope of practice.
  • Care for low risk and high risk infants, including stabilization and management of acute infants on ventilators.
  • Conduct complete head to toe assessments of infants.
  • Assist with feedings and provide education for breast and bottle feeding.
  • Provide age-appropriate education for parents and family members.
  • Attend low and high risk deliveries as needed following NRP guidelines.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support through the AHA or ARC.
  • Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • STABLE Preferred.
  • Registered Nurse, Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current active NICU experience required.
