The Registered Nurse / RN for Surgical Unit provides nursing care for a group of patients assigned to the nurse based on matching the patients' needs with the nurse's competencies. Under minimal supervision, the RN is responsible for completing established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Other related duties may be assigned as necessary.
