About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM in a Neuro Stepdown unit. The RN will care for patients requiring close neurological monitoring and intermediate-level care following neurological illness or surgery. The role focuses on managing complex neuro patients while monitoring neurological status, cardiac rhythms, and overall patient stability. The nurse will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, high-quality care in a progressive care environment.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of permanent nursing experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments
• At least 18 months of recent Neuro Stepdown experience
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact license at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• A recent supervisory reference is also required for submission
