About The Position
The Registered Nurse in Neuro Surgery is accountable for utilizing the nursing process. safety and efficiency. Requires flexibility and dependability. Responsible for the care of the patient in the intra-operative phase of care. Strong patient advocate focused on patient safety and efficiency. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.
Requirements
- current Missouri RN license
- BLS
- Applicable Experience: 1 year
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Associate Degree - Nursing
Nice To Haves
- experience in Neuro Surgery with the ability to circulate a variety of cases
