Requirements
- Must be a registered nurse with a valid RN license in the state you are applying for
- Minimum of two years of NICU experience and tracheostomy care
- BLS & ACLS, NRP & S.T.A.B.L.E. (within six months)
- Desire to be part of a dynamic platform and ability to adapt to new facilities and conditions quickly
- Other records or documents needed will be explained during the onboarding process
Responsibilities
- NICU RN - Tracheostomy Care
- Oral Suctioning/Management of oral secretions
- G.Button - Care, feeding
- PICC Line - Care, Meds Administration, Locking (heparin flush protocol), I.V. administration, TPN
- Recognizing, responding, and management of Sympathetic Storming
- Positioning of infants on Respiratory support
- Personal Hygiene of Infants on Trach - dressing, diaper changes, bathing
- Care of a premature infant
